Drawing of a royal funeral procession of Her Royal Highness, Princess Charlotte, 1817.

A signed pencil drawing for the picture which was used on the wood-block, the impression being visible from the back of the drawing. This illustration was used in the Hone pamphlet, the whole of the burial procession and the obsequies, published in 1817.

Princess Charlotte was the only child of King George IV of Great Britain and Caroline of Brunswick. She was doted on by her grandfather King George III. After attempts to betroth her to other European princes, she married Leopold of Saxe-Coburg, afterwards King of the Belgians.
